1 1/2 C powdered sugar
1 C butter softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp Almond extract
2 1/2 C flour
1 tsp Each baking soda and cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix powder sugar, butter, egg, vanilla, and almond until well combined. Stir in flour, soda, and cream of tartar. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours. I like to form some of the dough in rolls so I have my own slice and bake version or I roll and cut shapes for any desired Holiday. This is best made in a stand mixer and the recipe may be doubled Bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes until edges are just light brown remove from oven and let cool for 5 min then remove to cooling and decorate when completely cool
