1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla


15 apples
15 Popsicle sticks

Directions:
Wash apples well! Place a Popsicle stick in each apple. Line a cookie sheet with foil, put apples on sheet and stick in freezer. Melt butter in a medium pan over medium-high heat. Add brown sugar, corn syrup and sweetened condensed milk, stir together with wooden spoon. Cook the caramel over medium high heat, stirring constantly. The temp should read 235º-240º (soft ball stage) when the caramel has reached the correct consistency. It should take about 14 minutes. Remove the pan from heat and stir in 1 tsp vanilla. Dip apples and let excess caramel drip off and back into pan for 20 seconds. Refrigerate.
