Cake
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. crisco

Filling
1c. milk
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Cakes
Sift dry ingredients together. Add milk, egg, vanilla and crisco until smooth. Drop by teaspoon full on greased and floured cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 5-7 min at 425.

Filling
Cook milk and Flour together until thickened. Let this cool. In a separate bowl beat sugar, butter, vanilla, and crisco for 10 minutes. Add cooled milk and flour mixture. Beat 10 more minutes.

Layer filling between two cakes and enjoy!
