1 lb Jack Cheese, grated
4 chicken breasts (or equivalent), baked & boned
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 small cans Ortega diced chiles
1 C. Milk
1 pkg average-sized tortillas
1 onion, diced (or dried onion flakes)
1 small can green salsa (or La Victoria red chile salsa), to taste; add a little at a time- it can get too hot. Can add more green chiles to taste

Combine mushroom soup, diced chiles with milk. Grease casserole or flat oven broiler pan. Put layers of package of cut-up tortillas, chicken meat in pieces, diced chiles, half sauce mixture (soup etc), and of the grated cheese. Repeat. Top with cheese. Refrigerate 24 hours before baking. Bake at 350 for 1 hours.
