1 lb Jack Cheese, grated
4 chicken breasts (or equivalent), baked & boned
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 small cans Ortega diced chiles
1 C. Milk
1 pkg average-sized tortillas
1 onion, diced (or dried onion flakes)
1 small can green salsa (or La Victoria red chile salsa), to taste; add a little at a time- it can get too hot. Can add more green chiles to taste

Combine mushroom soup, diced chiles with milk. Grease casserole or flat oven broiler pan. Put layers of ½ package of cut-up tortillas, chicken meat in pieces, diced chiles, half sauce mixture (soup etc), and ½ of the grated cheese. Repeat. Top with cheese. Refrigerate 24 hours before baking. Bake at 350º for 1½ hours.
