Whole chicken, thawed.
2 Tsp -Better Than Bouillon chicken or roasted chicken base
2 Tsp poultry seasoning

2 cups Bisquick baking mix
2/3 cups whole milk

Directions:
Directions:
In large stockpot, cover whole chicken with water, add chicken base and poultry seasoning and bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer (gentle boil) for 90 minutes. Remove chicken and let cool until you can remove all meat into bite sized pieces, add chicken meat back to broth.

In a mixing bowl, mix Bisquick and milk, do not over mix!
Return broth and chicken meat to boil.

When broth is boiling, turn to simmer or low boil. By tablespoons, gently drop spoonfuls of batter into broth mix, leaving space for each dumpling to expand. Boil for ten minutes, then flip each dumpling, cover pot and cook an additional 5 minutes. You will have to repeat for two or three cycles, as you cannot use all the batter in the first batch or dumplings,

Spoon dumplings out with both chicken and broth into bowls and serve.
You can serve two or three people, then keep making more dumplings.
