1 cake dry yeast
C. Water
C. Scalded milk
6 TBSP sugar
1 tsp salt
5 TBSP shortening
1 TBSP grated lemon peel
1 TBSP lemon juice
2 beaten eggs
3 C. sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in C. Of water. To scalded milk, add sugar, shortening, salt, lemon juice, lemon peel, and cool to lukewarm. Add eggs. Add flour- one cup at a time and beat until smooth. Let raise until double in size (about 45 minutes). Stir down. Grease muffin tins and fill half-full. Let raise until double. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Brush with melted butter and lemon juice and dip tops in sugar cinnamon mixture (1 TBSP cinnamon & 1 TBSP sugar)
