3 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice
3 Tbsp. Simple Syrup (see below)
Lime slice for garnishing

Simple Syrup:
¾ c. sugar
5 oz warm tap water

Directions:
Add rum, lime juice & simple syrup to cocktail shaker, then fill with ice cubes. Shake until fully combined, at least 30 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass, garnish with lime slice & serve.

Makes 1 cocktail but can be doubled or more. Shake a bit longer in that case.

For Simple Syrup:
Put sugar & warm water together in a jar, put on cover & shake until sugar has dissolved. Let cool completely. This is enough for several cocktails & can be stored in the fridge for weeks.
