"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

1 t salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 deg F. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs. Whisk in the milk, crème fraiche, salt and pepper.

At this point, you can make whatever kind of quiche you want. Suggestion: carmelized onions, bacon and lots of cheese.

Place whatever quiche ingredients you want into greased oven proof dish. Pour quiche mixture over the top. Bake the quiche for 35 minutes, until the custard is just set. Cool or serve hot.

Personal Notes:
This is a NEVER fail recipe! It was my go-to for anything “custard”. Could also be made sweet by adding sugar and such for a bread pudding.
