2 lbs. raw shrimp
1 lb. Polska Kielbasa sausage (sliced)
2 tbsp. oil
2 tsp. flour
1 medium onion, chopped
2 qt. water
2 bay leaves
2 garlic cloves, chopped
˝ tsp. cayenne pepper
2˝ c. okra, sliced

Directions:
Peel or devein shrimp. Set aside. Make a roux in a skillet. Heat the oil! Add the flour and cook over med-low heat till it starts to brown. Do not burn, but cook till dark brown. Add shrimp, cook for a few minutes. Set aside.
In a separate skillet, add another 2 tbsp. oil. Sauté onions, and sliced okra. Sauté for a few minutes. Then add tomatoes, water, bay leaves, garlic, salt and pepper.
In crock pot. Add the roux and shrimp mixture. Add onions and okra. Add sliced sausage. Cook on low for 3-4 hours.
Serve over a bed of rice.
