Ingredients:
1.5 oz. good quality tequila
1 oz. Cointreau
3 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tsp. agave ( find near honey at the supermarket)
lime slice for garnish
salt and extra lime juice for salting rim (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Chill a margarita glass in freezer while making the drink. If you want a salted rim, pour a little extra lime juice into a saucer, put a little salt into a 2nd saucer, invert glass over juice wetting rim, and then dip rim into salt.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, & add tequila, Cointreau, lime juice & agave. Shake vigourously for about a minute & carefully strain into prepared glass avoiding the rim. Garnish with lime slice.

Serves 1.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
We have enjoyed Margaritas as far away as Bangkok and we have had "famous" Margaritas in Santa Fe but, believe it or not, the best Margaritas we ever drank were in the restaurant of an upscale department store in Dublin. I literally chased the bartender to get this recipe from her.
