1 C. Flour
1 ½ Tsp. Baking powder
1 ½ Tsp. Cinnamon
3 Tbsp. Sugar
¼ T. Salt
1 Egg (broken)
⅔ C. Milk
1 C. Apple (diced)

Glaze:
¼ C. Milk
1 Tsp. Vanilla extract
2 C. Confection sugar

Directions:

Measure & sift all dry ingredients together. Beat eggs & milk. Add dry ingredients. Add apples. Add oil into skillet until deep enough to cover the batter. Drop into heated oil (3-4 minutes) each side.

Glaze: Combine milk & vanilla in saucepan & heat until warm. Add confectioner sugar into milk mixture. Whisk slowly until combined. Remove glaze from heat. Set over a warm bowl of water. Dip fritter in glaze. Set on rack to drip.
