4 cups sugar
2 cups Karol syrup
½ teas salt
1 can evaporated milk
I Tbs vanilla
1 cup nuts
1 quart whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sugar, syrup, salt and milk to a boil on medium heat
Stir in vanilla, nuts, and whipping cream
Stir constantly for 1 hour on medium heat
Test after it turns a dark color. Cool and roll to a from ball (if you lay it on the counter, it should not flatten)

Another classic candy recipe from Aunt Leslie, which a lot of the Brewer Family now makes! I know there is a microwave recipe too that turns out really well! Just love these soft and sweet caramels!!
