Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Pizza Crust:
2 and ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm water
1/2 t. Rapid rise yeast (options)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
For the Sauce:
8 oz can tomato paste (I used Contadina)
8oz water
1 t. Salt
For the toppings:
8 oz ground pork sausage
1 tsp dried rosemary
¼ tsp fennel seed
1 t basil
4 oz. pepperoni chopped fine ( I chopped in the food processor)
½ cup finely chopped mushrooms
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded provolone cheese
Extra oregano

Directions:
Directions:
For the crust:
Preheat oven to 450. Heat a pizza stone in the oven.
I added the yeast to the 1 c. warm water. This was just to give a slight yeast taste and was not in the original recipe. Mix all the remaining ingredients and let sit while you prep the rest. Once you are ready, split the dough into 2. Roll the dough out very thin into 16 in circle. (I used the lid to a Tupperware serving center to cut it round.). Prick the crust all over with a fork. Place on preheated stone and cook for 5 minutes.
For toppings:
Mix tomato paste, water and salt. Mix provolone and mozzarella. Add oregano (I eyeballed it). Brown the sausage; chop really fine with a spatula as you brown it. .Add fennel, rosemary and oregano.
To assemble:
Spread sauce on the crust. Top with cheese. Reserve a little cheese for the finish. Top with sausage, mushrooms and pepperoni. Sprinkle on the remaining cheese. Bake 15 -18 minutes.
