2 lb. Cubed Steak
¼ Cup Canola Oil
¼ Cup Self Rising Flour
1 tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Pepper
1 Can Cream of Mushroom
1 Can Water
1 Large onion (sliced)
1 tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet ( liquid browner)
1 Small can Sliced mushrooms (optional)

Directions:
In a plastic throw away bag, put flour, salt & pepper. Shake then dredge the steak. In a large frying pan on med high, pour in the oil. When hot, fry the steak Quickly until lightly brown. Do not cook done. Set aside.
In a Crock Pot, add mushroom soup. Fill the can with water to clean out and add to the soup. Add the onion & mushroom (if desired). Then layer in the steak, stir to cover.
Cover and cook on high for 30 min. Open & stir, reduce to simmer & cook for about 1 hour. When done add Browner to make the color of gravy you like.

I like to make this the same way using stew beef.
