Scallop Potatoes Recipe

3 lb pealed potatoes
1/2 diced onion
1/3 c butter
1 pint heavy whipping cream
8 oz cheese
1 lb diced ham (optinal)
1 t salt
1 t garlic powder
1 t onion powder
3/4 t pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Peel 3# potatoes and slice thin (I use my grater)
1/2 of an onion (grated also)
Layer potatoes, cheese, onions,, and spices in greased roaster
Add 1/3 cup butter cut into pieces
Pour 1 pt cream over top.
Mix together and bake in 325 oven for about an hour.

Stir as needed
Bake till tender.
May add additional milk if they get to dry.

(add in additional garlic powder, onion powder, cheese, or onions as desired)
