2 gallon green tops stripped of stems
2 gallon water
½ lb cured meat (ham hock or similar)
⅓ cup fried meat grease (bacon fat or similar) or oil

Directions:
Directions:
put meat in large pot with 2 gallon water. Boil meat for 1 hours. Wash greens and soak 3 times to remove chemicals and dirt. Add greens to pot and continue boiling for approximately another 2 hours. remove from water when greens are tender and shred greens with forks. Use skillet and put oil in skillet on low heat. add oil and greens with meat to skillet. cook reducing water content on greens. be careful with any salt adds as the meat will provide most of the salt.
