2½ cups warm water
2 packages yeast
brown sugar
cinnamon
1 regular size yellow cake mix
4½ cups flour
nuts (optional)
1 stick melted butter

Powdered sugar glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp. margarine or butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
3 to 4 tbsp. milk or half-and-half

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water - add cake mix and flour; knead dough and let rise until double in bulk (best results if placed in a warm area). After dough has risen, roll ¼ inch thickness and spread with butter. Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts over pastry. Roll as for jelly roll, cut ½ inch slices. Place additional brown sugar on bottom of pan, then place rolls on top. Let rise again.
Bake 350º for 15 - 20 minutes.

Powdered sugar glaze:
In medium bowl, combine all ingredients until smooth, adding enough milk for desired glaze consistency.

These rolls have been a Christmas morning tradition at Junior and Glenda's house since the boys were very little! One of their favorite memories!
