Ingredients: 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes (4 or 5) ¾ cup sugar 1 stick butter or margarine 1 pk miniature marshmallows 3 eggs ½ cup milk 1 tsp vanilla Topping: 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup flour 1 stick butter or margarine ½ to 1 cup of pecans (diced)

Directions:Cook sweet potatoes in the skins and then peel them. Mix potatoes & butter, then mix in marshmallows or marshmallow cream. Add other ingredients. Add cinnamon & nutmeg if you like it or you can leave it out. I just guess at how much to put and use more cinnamon than nutmeg. Mix well and pour in a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Topping: Mix brown sugar & flour together. Cut butter into pieces and mix with sugar/flour mixture. Mix in the pecan pieces and sprinkle over top of sweet potatoes. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. You can half this recipe to make a smaller amount and use 1 small jar of marshmallow cream instead of marshmallows. Laura is a special friend to the Hanks Family.
