2T Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Large onion chopped
2c Diced carrots
1c Medium diced red potatoes
1 Smoked Ham Bone, with meat
4 Large cloves Garlic
¼ tsp Red Pepper flakes
½ tsp Oregano
1½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
1 Bay Leaf
1 16oz package Split Peas, rinsed
2 cartons 32 oz Vegetable Stock




Directions:
Directions:

Saute onion and garlic in 2 tbsp extra virgin olive Oil, until the onion is tender.

Place the sauted onion, garlic and rest of ingredients in a slow cooker pot. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low 6-8 hours.

Discard bay leaf.

If desired cool slightly, place in a blender and blend until smooth. Season to taste.
