1 pound of ground beef, browned and drained
1 onion diced (frozen is easy) and cooked with the ground beef - can use onion powder
1 28 ounce can of tomato purée
1 small can of tomato paste
Chicken broth - a box or 2/3 cans
1 bag or two of frozen mixed veggies (carrots, peas, corn, green beans)
You can add any kind of vegetable that your family will eat. (Okra, diced tomatoes, etc.)
I peel, dice and add 1 regular potato if I have one
Salt- sprinkle liberally and taste until it’s good
Pepper - sprinkle

Brown meat with onion. Drain. Put this and all other ingredients into your large crockpot. Add chicken broth to make it the consistency that you like. Cook on low all day long.
