1c. cornmeal
1c. cold water
3c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Grease loaf pan. Mix cornmeal and cold water in a saucepan. Stir in boiling water and salt. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Cover; cook over low heat 10 minutes. Spoon into pan. Cover; chill at least 12 hours. Invert pan to unmold mush. Cut loaf into 1/2 inch slices. Melt butter in large skillet. Coat slices with flour. Brown on each side in skillet. Serve with bacon, ham or sausage. Also makes a good cereal with butter and milk.
