3/4 C Butter 2 C Sugar 1 t Vanilla
3 eggs 2 1/2 C Flour 1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 t salt 1/2 C Coco
1 1/2 cups black cherry soda 2 t Baking Soda

Icing
1 container vanilla frosting
2 teaspoons cherry extract
1 to 2 drops pink food coloring
24 whole maraschino cherries with stems

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven at 350
Cream Butter and sugar
Add eggs vanilla to milk
Shift all dry ingredients and add alternatively with milk
Stir together
Pour batter into muffin cups
Bake at 350 for 19-22 min

Icing
In a large bowl combine frosting
extract and pink food coloring
When cupcakes are cool ice with pink cherry frosting and top each with maraschino cherry
