Ingredients:
3 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
c. sugar
1 ea. 21 oz. can of chunky apple pie filling
6 cups cinnamon-raisin bread cut into cubes, will dry to about 4 cups

Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly coat a 4 qt. slow cooker with butter, set aside.

In a large mixing bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, and sugar. Gently stir in the pie filling and bread cubes. Pour mixture into prepared cooker.

Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean (the mixture will be puffed). Remove the interior crock from the cooker and let stand, uncovered, for 30 to 45 minutes to cool slightly before serving.

THE PUDDING WILL FALL AS IT COOLS, it is supposed to fall, no worries!

Spoon the pudding into dessert dishes and top with whip cream or vanilla ice cream.

If I have any leftovers (rare!) it goes in the frig and is served cold for breakfast the next day.
