Mama Charlotte's Pecan Pie Recipe

Charlotte King ( Momma Charlotte)


1/2 cup butter ( melted)
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup ( karo)
4 eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

one 9 inch pie crust

Combine butter, sugar, and syrup.
Over low heat stir constantly until sugar is disolved.
Let cool.

add remaining ingredients and blend well.
Pour into unbaked crust.
Place pecans on top.

Bake for 50 to 55 minutes in oven at 325.

Note: Place cookie sheet of foil under the pan to catch any drips from getting on your oven.
