1 c. sugar
¼ tsp. cardamom
1⅓ c. flour, sifted
¼ tsp. salt
1 c. heavy cream

Beat eggs till light.
Add sugar gradually, beating till thick and lemon-colored. Stir in cardamom. Sift flour and salt together blend into egg mixture alternately with cream.

heat kumkake iron on the stove over medium heat.

Oil iron before dropping batter onto iron first time.

Place a teaspoon of batter on heated iron and press together. Cook until browned, about 30 seconds per side.

Remove from iron and quickly roll up around a cone before they harden.
