Grilled Cilantro Lime Chicken Recipe

Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts, halved and pounded down to thin them to desired thickness. 1 stick of butter softened 1 bunch of cilantro 2 limes zested and use the juice for the marinade. 2 shakes of green pepper sauce, i use cholula hot sauce any marinade of your choice, packaged or mixed to marinade the chicken overnight or a few hours.

Directions:rough chop the cilantro into bite sized pieces zest the peel of two limes, reserving the juice to add to your marinade add the cilantro and lime zest, plus a couple shakes of the cholula sauce to room temperature butter. mix the butter together and form into a stick, wrap in parchment paper and refrigerator overnight, or until hardened ( several hours) mix your marinade to the package directions, adding the lime juice to the marinade marinade the chicken breasts for several hours or overnight.
set out chicken breast to room temperature before grilling the chicken. Once chicken is done, put a pat of the butter on top of each chicken breast and cover with foil for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with extra flavored butter and your favorite side dishes. |
