1 C fresh apples
2 C sugar
2 eggs
1.2 C butter
1 C raisins
1 C chopped nuts
2 tsp soda
2 C flour
1 T salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 T cinnamon

Vanilla Sauce:
2 C brown sugar
2 C sugar
1/4 C cornstarch
Mix tab above together in large sauce pan.
1 tsp vanilla
4 C water
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Grease and flour 9x13 pan

Mix chopped apples and sugar together add eggs
Add butter and mix well
Add raisins and nuts

Add flour and other dry ingredients. Mix well.
Bake 40-50 minutes.
Serve warm or cold


Sauce:
Cook ingredients over medium heat until sauce boils and thickens.
