½ c. butter
1 c. quick oaks
½ c. packed brown sugar
½ c. flour
½ c. walnuts, chopped
¼ tsp. baking soda
1 (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp. vanilla
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Heat oven to 350º
Melt 6 T. butter, stir in oats, sugar, flour, nuts, and baking soda. Grease and flour a 9x13 baking dish. Press batter firmly in baking dish. Bake 10-15 minutes or lightly browned. Melt remaining 2 T. butter and add milk. Cook stirring constantly until thick, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla. Pour over crust. Bake 10-15 minutes and remove from oven and immediately top with chocolate chips and gently spread as they begin to melt. cool, chill, and enjoy.
