1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. tabasco, divided in half
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. Parmesean cheese
2 T. Parsley
1/2 c. dried bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 sm can tomato paste
1/8 tsp.
1 clove garlic
1 med. onion, diced
1 lb can tomatoes
1 6oz cn. mushrooms
3-4 green bell pepper, cut lengthwise in strips
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Sprinkle 1/2 tsp. tabasco sauce over ground beef. Add salt, cheese, parsley, bread crumbs, and egg. Mix well. Brown meatballs in hot oil in a large skillet. Remove and set aside. Saute'onion until tender in skillet used to brown meatballs. Add tomatoes, tomato past, mushrooms and liquid, and remaining tabasco into a large pot. Add onions, and other seasonings and bring to a boil. Add green peppers and meatballs. Add garlic and cover. Simmer 20 minutes longer. Remove the garlic and simmer 10 minutes longer. Serve over noodles, with tossed salad and garlic bread.

One of my favorites!

If you are in a hurry, you can use frozen Italian meatballs, and frozen pepper and onion mix. Spaghetti sauce. It is not as good but nothing in a hurry is as good as the fresh.
