Directions: |
Directions:Cook macaroni, drain and toss in the 2 TBS oil. Mix everything together in crock pot and put on low. Cook for at least 4 hours, or until it's the consistency that you like your mac and cheese. I generally stir it a couple of times.
Also: I typically make a double batch for family gatherings.
I've also cooked this in the oven at 250º |

Personal
Notes: I originally got this recipe from David and Marsh VanGilder (Marsh was his first wife before Celeste), before Abigail was born. The first time I made it Carl and Danielle were so used to boxed Kraft Mac and Cheese that they hated it. I didn't make if again for years. Finally once, after I married Terry, I decided to try again. The rest is history. As you all know this is a must have for any family gathering.
