Ham Hock (Heavenly Ham is best)
1 bag of great northern beans
2 quarts water
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 tsp- garlic, s/p, basil and oregano
1 bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Put all in crockpot and cook on low for 10 hours. Remove hock and bay leaf. Get ham from hock and add back to pot. Smash up some of the beans. Let cool and skim fat off. Reheat and eat.

This is my mom's recipe (Donna Pardo). It is divine. I rarely make because I have a hard time not think about a hock being all the good flavor but if someone else makes I enjoy eating it!
