1/2 Cup Onions, chopped
3/4 Cup Catsup
1/4 Cup Water
2 1/2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Tomato Paste
1/2 Teaspoon Mustard Powder
1 Dash Cayenne Pepper
2 Pounds Shrimp
12 Whole Bacon Slices, cut in half lengthwise

Directions:

Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Add onion; saute until soft. Stir in catsup, water, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, tomato paste, mustard, and cayenne pepper. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring
occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir shrimp into sauce, covering completely. Let stand 15 minutes. Preheat broiler. Remove shrimp from sauce. Wrap each piece of shrimp with a piece of bacon. Thread 5 or 6 shrimp on a skewer. Place skewers on rack about 4 inches from the heat. Cook 3 to 4 minutes. Turn, cook remaining side until bacon is crisp. Reheat sauce, serve separately.
