CAKE
1 ¼ cups Flour, sifted
1 ½ tsps. Baking Powder
¼ tsp. Salt
⅔ cup Sugar
3 Tbsps. Shortening
1 Egg
5 Tbsps. Milk

CRUMB MIXTURE
8 Tbsps. Flour
⅛ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Cinnamon (optional)
4 Tbsps. Confectioners Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 Tbsps. Butter, melted (for larger crumbs have butter at room temperature, not melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Cut in shortening. Beat egg and milk together. Add gradually to dry ingredients.

Place in greased and floured 9-inch pan.

Mix all crumb mixture ingredients to form crumble. Cover cake with mixture.

Bake in preheated oven at 350º for 25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the cake comes out clean.
