1 pkg. yellow cake mix
½ c. melted butter (1 stick)
4 eggs
1-½ c. light corn syrup
½ c. packed dark brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped pecans, toasted

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325º
In a bowl put cake mix, butter, and 1 egg and beat till combines. Take out ⅔ cup of batter and set aside. Spread remaining batter in bottom of greased and floured 9x13 baking dish. Bake at 325º for 15 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Place reserved ⅔ cup batter, corn syrup, sugar, 3 eggs, vanilla in large bowl and beat for 1 minute. Fold in pecans. Pour mixture on top of warm cake and smooth out. Bake at 325º for 40-45 minutes or until edges are browned. Cool 30 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
