¾ pound Butter or Margarine
3 cups Sugar
5 Eggs
3 cups Flour
½ tsp. Baking Powder
1 cup Milk
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Butter Extract

ICING
1 box Confectioners Sugar
2 Tbsps. Crisco
1 tsp. Butter flavoring
Milk
4 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder

CAKE
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Alternate flour, baking powder and milk. Starting with flour and ending with flour. Add extracts. Put in tube pan.

Put in cold oven. Bake 350º for 75 minutes

ICING
Mix first three ingredients together, adding enough milk to make icing spreadable.

Ice one-half of cake. Then add 4 tbsp. cocoa to the rest of the icing. Mix well adding more milk if necessary. Spread over the other half of cake.
