½ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tablespoons butter
½ cup whipping cream or heavy cream
1 tablespoon GOOD brandy

Directions:
Directions:
In a 1 quart saucepan, mix all ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat and serve hot over apple or
mincemeat pie, gingerbread, ice cream or fruit.

**Try sprinkling a little ground cinnamon into the sauce. This is especially good if you are planning on using your sauce over hot apple pie. (Note: You can also use pumpkin pie spices if you prefer.)
