2 large Cans yams, drained and mashed
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Milk
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
⅓ stick butter or margarine

Topping:
1 cup Brown sugar
½ cup Flour
⅓ cup Butter or margarine
1 Pack pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl. Mix with electric mixer until well blended and spread into baking pan. Sprinkle topping on mixture and bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes.

I like to use fresh yams and cook them up to use in this recipe

*This recipe came from my Aunt Shirley. This quickly came to be a favorite among my family and friends the minute Shirley introduced it. It is now a holiday favorite that is an absolute must. Also great as side for fried chicken!
