2 cups Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp. Ground Ginger
tsp. Ground Allspice
tsp. Salt
cup Margarine, melted
⅓ cup Molasses
1 Egg

Preheat oven to 350.

In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, soda, spices and salt.

In cup, mix margarine and molasses; stir in egg. Stir margarine mixture into flour until dough forms. Shape into little balls the size of a walnut. Put on a non-stick greased cookie sheet.

Take a water glass and dip the bottom in a small bowl of water then into small bowl of sugar. The sugar will stick to the bottom of the glass, then press the glass down on cookies to flatten to inch thickness.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes
