Notes: I got this recipe from one of my favorite client’s in Slidell LA when I worked for Merial Ltd selling animal pharmaceuticals. These cookies are AWESOME! Baked them with Momma for Christmas 2010! Boiled first 5 ingredients on accident – removed from heat immediately. Do NOT chill for more than 1 hour – it is a very firm dough. Would add 1 ½ T of ginger next time.
