2 lb Lean Beef (cut into bite size pieces)
2 Qt Beef broth
2 ea Large Onion (Diced)
4 ea Large Potato (Peeled and diced)
8 ea Large Carrots (Peeled and sliced)
28 oz crushed Tomatoes in tomato puree
16 0z tomato sauce
1 TBS Ketchup
3 TBS Olive oil
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Fresh ground black pepper
½ tsp Cayenne pepper(optional)
little oil to brown meat and onion with

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef in little oil, add onion and cook until begin to brown, drain oil. Put beef and onion in pot add Beef Broth and boil until meat is tender (approximately 2½ hours or put all in crockpot). Add all other ingredients including olive oil and slow cook until vegetable are tender. Serve with crackers or cornbread.

Any lean meat can be substituted for the beef.
