1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 small (5 oz) can evaporated milk
⅔ cup melted butter
50 caramel pieces
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a double boiler, melt all 50 caramel pieces and ¼ cup of the evaporated milk.
Melt caramels slowly.
2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, the rest of the evaporated milk, and ⅔ cup
melted butter. Beat with a mixer.
3. Put half of the cake mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 pan and bake at 350°F for 6 minutes.
4. After cooking cake for 6 minutes, take out of oven and sprinkle chocolate chips
over the top.
5. When caramels are melted, pour over the chocolate chips.
6. Spread the second half of the cake mixture on top of the caramel & chocolate chips.
7. Bake again for approx 7- 10 minutes.
