3 c lean ground beef
1 ½ c raw rice
1 c ketchup
1 can tomato paste
1 c chopped green onion heads
1 c chopped green onion tops
½ c chopped parsley
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt
Black pepper
Red pepper
1 large head cabbage

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the meat and all of the filling ingredients (except the cabbage) very thoroughly by hand. Wilt cabbage head in boiling water about 10 minutes. Remove leaves from cabbage head and using the prepared mix, roll in individual leaves about 2 heaping tablespoons or enough to give desired size cabbage roll. Place cabbage rolls (CR) in the bottom of heavy roaster and Dutch oven stacking if necessary.
 

Sauce

1 sm can tomato paste
1 sm can tomato sauce
2-3 c water
½ c ketchup
½ c chopped onion
Green onion as desired
Parsley as desired
Salt
Black pepper
2 level T sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Pour enough sauce over the CR so that the level of sauce covers all the CR.

Place in 350 deg F oven for 30 minutes then lower oven to 250 deg F for 90 minutes more. Enjoy!
