3 cups ground cherries (also called husk tomatoes)
2 cups cooked pears (drained and diced finely)
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup crushed pineapple (drained)
1/4 cup lemon juice (2 lemons)
7 cups sugar
1/2 bottle liquid pectin

Directions:
Directions:
Husk and wash ground cherries. Combine with pears and water; simmer 25 minutes. Add pineapple, lemon juice and sugar; bring quickly to full rolling boil. Add pectin; boil rapidly 3 minutes. Remove from heat; skim. Ladle into sterilized hot jars to within 1/8 inch of jar top. Wipe jar rim; adjust lids. Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes. Remove from canner and complete seals unless closures are self sealing type.
