1 large egg yolk
1 T heavy cream
1 t vanilla extract
1 c unsalted butter
2/3 c sugar
1/4 t table salt
2 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl, beat egg yolk, cream and vanilla with fork until combined. Set aside.
In standing mixer, cream butter, sugar and salt. Beat at high speed until light and fluffy.
Scrape down bowl w/ rubber spatula. With speed set to medium, add yolk/cream mixture and beat until combined (30 sec.) Scrape down bowl. Turn mixer to low spead and gradually beat in flour until combined. Scrape down bowl and give final stir w/ rubber spatula.
Put dough into cookie press. Press cookies onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 - 12 minutes rotating halfway through cooking. Cool cookies 10 to 15 minutes before removing from sheet.

I found this recipe written in Aunt Lisa's handwriting. It was in the box with the cookie press. The paper it was on was stained and holey so it must be a pretty good recipe. It would likely be written in the early eighties. No telling how old the actual recipe is or where it came from.
