1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup lard (shortening)
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp baking powder
4 cups flour
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, brown sugar and lard (shortening)
Mix other ingredients in order
Refrigerate overnight or until firm
Roll into desired thickness (1/2”)
Cut (use as little flour as possible)
Bake @ 450° around 8 minutes
