2 tsp. sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
½ tbsp. ground ginger
1 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. lime juice
¼ cup of peanuts, chopped
1 green cabbage, large leaves gently removed

15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. ground ginger
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt

More crushed peanuts for topping

Blanch the cabbage leaves by placing two or three leaves at a time in a pot of boiling water for 2 minutes, then remove carefully with tongs and plunge into cold water.

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef. Add the sesame oil, garlic, onion, ginger, brown sugar, and lime juice. Sauté until the onions are cooked.

Stir in the chopped peanuts. Preheat oven to 350º F.

Mix the tomato sauce, ginger, garlic, and salt.

To make the rolls, pat dry the cabbage leaves and cut out the hard stem. Spoon the meat mixture into the cabbage leave and roll up. Place seam side down in a glass baking dish. Make up all the rolls. Pour the sauce mixture all over the rolls.

Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve cabbage rolls with rice.
