1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
3 or 4 mashed overripe bananas
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 cups flour

Brown Butter Frosting
1 cube butter
4 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbs. milk

Cream sugar, butter and eggs until fluffy, then mix in soda, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Mash bananas in a separate bowl and then mix into batter. Add flour just until combined. Nuts can be folded in at this time, or you can sprinkle them on top.

Melt butter on medium heat in small saucepan stirring until it goes a dark golden brown. Put powdered sugar in mixing bowl and pour brown butter on top, with mixer blend in with vanilla and butter.

Bake brownies in a half sheet cake sprayed with baking spray on 350º for about twenty minutes. Top should be set and light golden brown. Remove from heat, and spoon frosting on top. Let it set until it melts and spread over brownies. Sprinkle with nuts (if desired.)
