Ingredients:
4 Cups Flour
1 Large Pkg Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 Lb butter (margarine works well too)
Apricot and Pineapple Preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Put cheese and butter on top of flour, work in until ready to roll and cut (knead by hand). Mix 1 jar apricot and pineapple preserves together. Place on cut cookies, pinch shut. Brush top with egg whites, add nuts if desired. Bake at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Note: We use a diamond shaped cookie cutter and don't go too thick as you want to be able to roll the ends together and pinch them shut. Any kind of jelly will do (caution: sugar free jellies will run, preserves work better-any flavor you want- I'll use strawberry to look seasonal around the holidays). We also forgo the egg whites and nuts - we prefer just dusting them with powdered sugar after they come out of the oven. I'd also recommend using parchment paper on the cookie tray - these can get messy if the preserves roll off during baking.

Personal Notes:
Origin of the cookie we thought was Mrs. Kamonerer, however she denied it. Anyway, a good cookie and one of our favorites each holiday season. Remember spending hours with Grandma making these as part of our holiday cookies.
