⅓ cup light brown sugar
⅓ cup dark brown sugar
¾ cup Karo light corn syrup
3 large eggs
⅓ cup melted butter
1 heaping cup of pecan halves (this year's crop, the best you can find!)
1 tablespoon bourbon or whiskey

Directions:

Cream together butter, sugars, corn syrup and eggs. Stir in pecans and whiskey. Pour into prepared pie shell and bake at 375º for 35 minutes or until just set.
