(2) 8 oz. pkg cream cheese
(2) 8 count cans of crescent rolls
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 stick butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Spread one can of crescent rolls in the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish. Combine cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla and spread on top of rolls. Spread second can of crescent rolls on top of cream cheese. Melt butter and pour over crescent rolls. Combine 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

I've never had Carena's recipe but our friend Jill Roys makes this for Dessert Roulette at the Elks Lodge every year and it's a big hit!
